Living History Performance: William Tye

Living History Performance: William Tye

Saturday July 13th, 2024 at 2pm.
Please join us at the Historic Depot for Living History Co. performer and pioneer history enthusiast, Gary Lentz, who will take us on a historical journey as William Tye the assistant railroad conductor. We will explore the time when railroads were expanding into the West and what that means for our region. He will share with us his expertise on narrow gauge railroads, steam engines, and ingenious ways to finance a rail line into new territories. Old-fashioned problems call for old-fashioned solutions.
This performance will be from 2:00 – 2:45 with plenty of time to question Mr. William Tye about his life and experiences.
This free performance is supported in part by the partnership of Fort Walla Walla Museum and the Dayton Historical Depot Society.
