The Boldman House will have an afternoon of activities for young people again this year. After the parade, head on down to the museum located at 410 North First Street. From 11:00am-3:00pm experience what life was like in Dayton during the early twentieth century. Appreciate the taste of homemade butter on fresh bread, plant some flowers in the Boldman Garden, shell corn or peel an apple using vintage machines, experience doing laundry in tubs with a washboard and a wringer, learn about and use old hand tools, and more. The house will also be open for tours until 4:00 pm. This is a free activity for everyone.
